The Variable’s President and Partner David Mullen to present at Endeavor’s Collaborators & Cocktails Summer Event – July 12

June 22, 2018

Endeavor, a membership-based coworking community for creatives and corporate marketing teams, announces that David Mullen, President and Partner of The Variable, will speak at its next Collaborators & Cocktails networking speaker series on July 12, 2018.

Recognizing that it’s an incredibly dynamic time for agencies as they struggle to keep pace with drastically changing client needs, Mullen will share how The Variable began evolving the agency model four years ago to focus on delivering real value creation for clients and will showcase examples of the agency’s work – the creative solutions that bring it all to life.

The agency’s results are striking, and a key driver in Endeavor’s invitation to Mullen to present to the Collaborators & Cocktails audience. As Endeavor’s founder Joe Erwin noted, “The Variable is delivering disproportionate growth for clients, developing deeper relationships with the C-suite and boards of directors, and has been named an Advertising Age Small Agency of the Year three out of the last four years. There are great lessons here for everyone, and we’re honored to have David with us.”

Over the past 18 years, Mullen’s focus has been driving meaningful, long-term growth for global, national and regional B2C and B2B clients, including Procter & Gamble, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Char-Broil, BASF, Lowes Foods and Merck. Mullen joined The Variable in 2013 as executive vice president and director of account management, and in 2017 he was promoted to president and named the agency’s third partner. Under Mullen’s leadership, the 47-person agency has quadrupled in size. Named Advertising Age Small Agency of the Year three out of the last four years, their growth and brand strategy has gained attention in the national advertising scene.

A native of South Carolina and University of South Carolina graduate, Mullen also owns Sunshine Beverages, the Southern-inspired pick-me-up drinks, and is an owner and co-founder of 100watt, an outsourced commercialization company that partners with clients and individuals to discover ideas, validate and operationalize them, and launch them as wholly-realized businesses, products and services.

Collaborators & Cocktails starts with networking at 5 p.m., with the presentation and Q&A session at 5:45 p.m. The event is free to all Endeavor members and corporate members, with a limited number of advance purchased guest tickets available for $30. Registration is required. No walk-ins are accepted. Contact [email protected] for ticket information.
