The Works expands to West Ashley at the Whole Foods Shopping Center

September 23, 2025

NAI Charleston announced that The Works, Charleston’s premier yoga and fitness studio, has signed a long-term lease for its first West Ashley location at West Ashley Station, a prominent Whole Foods Market–anchored shopping center.

Founded in 2018 by Sarah Frick, The Works, A Sweat Studio has built a strong community presence with multiple locations across Charleston’s peninsula and Mount Pleasant. The new West Ashley studio will debut later this year and will exclusively feature The Works Renew, a lower-impact yoga and sculpt concept introduced in Mount Pleasant in 2024.

Sarah Shelley of NAI Charleston represented The Works in the lease transaction. InvenTrust Properties Corp., who recently acquired West Ashley Station, was represented by Tyler Freeman and Jeff Yurfest of The Shopping Center Group (TSCG).

“It is always rewarding to help a friend and a great brand grow,” said Sarah Shelley of NAI Charleston. “The Works has built such a loyal following in Charleston, and bringing The Works Renew to West Ashley Station, a premier Whole Foods anchored center, is a very exciting milestone for Sarah Frick and her team.”
