Thomas L. Rhodes, III appointed Chairman of the Salvation Army of the Midlands’ Advisory Board
April 22, 2020The Salvation Army of the Midlands has appointed Thomas L. Rhodes, III as Chairman of the Advisory Board. Thomas was installed as an Advisory Board Member in 2014 and served as the Vice-Chair this past year. Thomas has been a tremendous asset to the team. “The Salvation Army is so blessed to have Thomas serving as Chairman of the Advisory Board. He is a strategic thinker that will effectively provide strong leadership with a generous spirit in this role,” said Major Henry Morris.
Thomas joined The Salvation Army Advisory Board with extensive experience and leadership serving as current President of Rhodes Graduation Services, Inc., a family owned and operated business representing Jostens since 1975. Thomas is also the co-founder of Rhodes Branding, a branding and marketing agency focused on serving the education community.
Currently, Thomas is a top ten finalist for the Columbia Metropolitan Magazine’s 2020 Capital Young Professional Awards honoring young, local movers and shakers who aspire to make Columbia a strong, thriving community. This is not the first time Thomas has been recognized in a top ten category. Clemson Alumni Association honored Thomas with the Roaring Ten Award, given to ten individuals who exemplify Clemson University’s core values of honesty, integrity and respect.

Thomas also serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the SC Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Visitors at Clemson University, and the Board of Directors of the Rexanna’s Foundation for Curing Lung Cancer.
