Thornwell Charter School Welcomes Coach Justin Dawkins as Head Boys Basketball Coach

Thornwell Charter School recently announced the hiring of Coach Justin Dawkins as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach. Coach Dawkins joins the school after serving as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Laurens High School, where he gained valuable experience in the High School League and the AAU circuit.

Coach Dawkins brings a wealth of expertise to Thornwell Charter School’s basketball program, having achieved success both on and off the court. In addition to his coaching credentials, Coach Dawkins has been recognized for his outstanding contributions in the classroom, receiving the Golden Apple Award and the National Citizenship Education Teacher Award in 2023.
