Ticket sales for 150th South Carolina State Fair begin Sept. 4

Admission tickets and ride vouchers for the 2019 South Carolina State Fair are on sale.

Discount admission tickets and ride vouchers are available through Oct. 8 at participating Circle K stores and scstatefair.org.

South Carolina State Fair’s roving ticket booth, FRED, will be at numerous locations across the greater Columbia region selling discount tickets, Sept. 4-Oct. 8. Find FRED’s locations and times online at findfred.org.

Starting September 23, tickets may be purchased from South Carolina State Fair’s Early Bird Ticket Window located at the North Gate, 1200 Rosewood Drive. For Early Bird Ticket Window times, visit scstatefair.org/ebtw.

Advance admission tickets are $7 ($10 during the fair), and advance ride vouchers are $25 ($30 during the fair and $35 on weekends on grounds).

Ride vouchers can be exchanged for a Pay-One-Price wristband, which offers unlimited rides any one day of the fair. Vouchers also may be exchanged for 30 ride coupons any day of the fair.

Admission to the South Carolina State Fair is free for those 5 years-old and younger as well as for active and retired military and their families with proper ID. Dependent children 10 years old and older must present ID. Adults 55 years old and older are admitted for $7 every day at the fairgrounds.

The 150th anniversary South Carolina State Fair runs Oct. 9-20 at the fairgrounds on Rosewood Drive and George Rogers Boulevard.
