Tindall team’s leadership transitions with new CEO and Chairman

Tindall Corporation, a national leader in precast, prestressed concrete structures, announces the internal transitions of its President and COO, Greg Force to President and CEO and its Vice Chairman, William Lowndes, IV, to Chairman of the Board. This change comes as the previous Chairman and CEO of Tindall, William Lowndes, III, steps down to focus on special projects within the organization.

Lowndes, III, spent the last 54 years leading Tindall Corporation from a six-person company to over 1,300 employees, spanning from Virginia to Texas. He has led with a strong vision and a true commitment to the employees who serve Tindall and to the communities in which it does business.
“I have full confidence that Greg and Willy will continue to lead Tindall towards a long and successful future,” said William Lowndes, III, of this transition. “Besides enjoying strong leadership, our company is pillared by the people who work hard each day to serve this organization.”
Force has served as the President and COO of Tindall since 2004 after joining the company in 1988. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University and his MBA from Georgia College and State University. In 2012, he served as Chairman of the Board for the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) and was named a Titan of the Industry in 2014. He is a registered Professional Engineer in ten states and a Fellow of both PCI and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Lowndes, IV, has worked at his family’s business since 1977, having served in numerous leadership roles including COO. With respect to his new role, Lowndes stated, “I am proud to continue my father’s work of leading the Board of this company that thrives on innovation and is made up of so many capable and dedicated people.” He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
