Tommy Preston Honored with Distinguished Young Alumnus Award

COLUMBIA, SC – The University of South Carolina’s College of Arts and Sciences has honored Nexsen Pruet attorney Tommy Preston, Jr. with a Distinguished Young Alumnus Award. Preston was one of four graduates to receive the award on March 20th.
As part of the event, the college’s Dean, Mary Anne Fitzpatrick, shared with the audience a letter from U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham.
“Tommy is becoming one of the most prominent young lawyers in our state,” Graham wrote of Preston. “Tommy interned in my office and has an unlimited future in the law. Over time, he will become one of the most influential voices in South Carolina.”

The College of Arts and Sciences also honored Laura Bauld Turner, Anne Hale Miglarese and Carolyn Polston with Distinguished Young Alumnus Awards.
