For its first deployment, this 32’ trailer will deploy to Eastern Tennessee in early 2026 to support long-term recovery efforts in the Hurricane Helene corridor.
In the long-term, this trailer will support the state of South Carolina.
As a key partner of ToolBank USA, Generac raised funds for this unit and the tools within it as part of their “Power Up with Purpose” campaign in summer 2025.
“Thanks to support from Generac, we’re launching our 25th mobile response unit to support disaster recovery efforts throughout the U.S.,” said Noah Smock, Director of Resource Development with ToolBank USA. “This is a milestone for our organization as we grow to meet the demand of diverse communities recovering from devastating natural disasters. From flooding in Central Texas to Wildfires in California, 2025 has been a critical year for our services. This unit will deploy swiftly to support long-term recovery efforts in the Hurricane Helene corridor and will be an asset for future response throughout the country.”
Generac’s Power Up with Purpose program is a fundraiser hosted in conjunction with the Generac Power Stage at the Summerfest music festival in Milwaukee, Wisc. ToolBank Disaster Services was the benefactor this year which enabled the purchase of the new trailer and tools. Since its inception, the program has raised $233,078 dollars with funds donated to a different charity each year.
“Supporting non-profits that respond to disasters and help people impacted is a key focus of giving for Generac,” said Kelly Skindzelewski, Community Programs Manager at Generac. “ToolBank provides meaningful resources and we were honored to increase their fleet that will equip volunteers in disaster zones.”
