Trades subcontractors sought for Nicholtown Community Center

In partnership with Cely Construction, the City is seeking qualified trade businesses to renovate the Nicholtown Community Center, 112 Rebecca St.
Business owners are invited to attend a subcontracting event on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Nicholtown Missionary Baptist Church, 327 Ackley Road. Those unable to attend may contact [email protected].
City Council approved the $4.9 million renovation plan earlier this year, using a combination of City and state funding. The project includes a substantial renovation of the 6,048-square-foot facility, including interior and exterior work as well as park improvements. Construction will begin in the spring of 2025 and is expected to continue for nine to 12 months.

- Landscaping
- Asphalt

- Masonry (load and non-load bearing)
- Structural steel
- Miscellaneous metals
- Custom cabinetry
- Carpentry
- Flat roofing
- Commercial doors, frames and hardware
