Treasurer Loftis names SC State University interim trustee

COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis Jr. has appointedJeff Vinzani to serve on the Interim Board of Trustees of South Carolina State University. Vinzani is a Charleston attorney with Graybill Lansche & Vinzani.
In Treasurer Loftis’ appointment letter to Vinzani, Loftis wrote, “Your extensive background in finance, law, higher education and alumni relations will make you an invaluable member to this board.”
Vinzani has served in multiple roles with the University of South Carolina including Ninth Circuit Governor of the Board of Governors and as a member of the USC Honors College Partnership Board.
“South Carolina State’s mission is vital to our state,” wrote Lofits. “Your service will help guide the first steps of a renaissance of the school and the community she serves.”
