Trident Technical College Hosting Veterans Day Programs and Vets Center Grand Opening
November 8, 2011CHARLESTON, SC – November 8, 2011 – Trident Technical College is holding two Veterans Day Celebration programs on Friday, Nov. 11, at two campuses to honor the contributions made by the United States military personnel and veterans.
The program at Trident Technical College’s Main Campus will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the College Center (Bldg. 920), 7000 Rivers Ave., North Charleston. The guest speaker is Captain Thomas W. Bailey, Commanding Officer of Navy Nuclear Power Training Command.
The program at Trident Technical College’s Palmer Campus will begin at 11 a.m. in the Amphitheater at 66 Columbia St., downtown Charleston. The guest speaker is Captain Mark V. Glover, Commanding Officer at SPAWAR. Immediately following the program, the grand opening of the new Palmer Campus VETS Center will be held.
