“Trident United Way and AmeriCorps loves our veterans and because we appreciate the service they have offered us, we want to have the opportunity to give back to them in a big way, so what we need for you is to partner with us to be able to assist them through our essentials drive.” :15
One80 Place provides homeless and at-risk Veteran families resources to maintain or quickly obtain permanent housing. To ensure each Veteran household receives what they need, services are tailored to the Veteran family needs while helping them quickly secure housing.
Last year, One80 Place ended or prevented homelessness for 661 Veterans!
“We are excited to partner with Trident United Way and AmeriCorps on this Veterans Day outreach,” said Katie Smith, One80 Place director of annual giving. “These donations play a big role in Veterans housing success making the transition from the street to a new home more effective. This drive ensures our clients that their basic needs will be taken care of, so they can focus on the critical steps towards their path of self-sufficiency. “
The Veterans Day Essentials Drive runs now through Nov. 30.
