TRIO announces leadership changes as agency experiences growth

February 1, 2022

Trio Solutions Inc. (TRIO), a marketing communications agency located in Mount Pleasant, announces changes to its leadership team. Jenny Dennis, the agency’s chief operating officer, assumed the role of president on January 1. Dennis joined the agency in 2017 and has led the company’s operations and creative services since that time. As part of the agency’s leadership transition, Jessica Munday, the agency’s founder, will assume the role of CEO.

As president, Dennis will lead the agency’s 14-member team, serving clients in the nonprofit, healthcare, education, real estate and professional services industries across the country. She is also responsible for accomplishing company goals as set forth by the CEO and advisory board while overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and inspiring team members to function as a values-based company.

“In her new role, I am confident Jenny will help ensure TRIO reaches its full potential by providing excellent creative services to our clients and inspiring our team,” says Munday. “Jenny has demonstrated an impressive commitment to our agency over the past five years, and we are excited to follow her lead in this new chapter for our growing company.”

Prior to joining the TRIO team, Dennis served as a publisher for skirt! Magazine where she launched the publication’s first-ever digital product and established its presence in the event space. Prior to relocating to Charleston in 2007, Dennis worked as a business development and marketing consultant for Stein Mart based out of Charlotte, NC, a department store chain with more than 290 stores nationwide during her employment (headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla.).

An engaged volunteer in the community, Dennis served on the board of directors for the Center for Women for several years, as well as volunteered for nonprofits such as Be a Mentor, Communities in School, LoveGave and Habitat for Humanity. She is actively involved with the Charleston chapter of the American Marketing Association and EO Charleston as a strategic partner. Dennis is also a member of Crosstowne Church where she leads a women’s retreat each year.

She received her certification in leadership excellence from the Disney Institute and continues to participate in leadership development programs through a variety of organizations across the country.

Originally from New Hampshire, Dennis received her bachelor’s degree in fashion marketing and business management. After completing her degree, she worked with an advertising agency in New England, where she worked on regional and national brands and began her involvement with the American Advertising Federation.

“I’m truly humbled and honored to step into the role of president at TRIO,” says Dennis. “Jessica has built an outstanding agency over the past 20 years, and it’s been the opportunity of a lifetime to come alongside her and serve our clients over the past several years. This next chapter of leadership is an exciting time for TRIO to continue to grow and thrive here in the Lowcountry and beyond.”

As CEO, Munday will oversee TRIO’s strategy, culture and vision. Along with Dennis and the agency’s advisory board, she will develop strategic goals to guide business growth with existing clients and explore new markets.
