Tuesday is Primary Runoff Election Day

Two weeks ago, the primary elections took place and based on the results, there are two races that were put into a runoff for local voters.
On Tuesday, June 28 two races will be decided in the runoff election, one in the Republican primary and one in the Democrat primary.
For Democrats, Catherine Fleming Bruce and Krystle Matthews are in a runoff for U.S. Senate. The winner of the runoff election will be on the ballot in November agains Republican Senator Tim Scott.
On the Republican ticket is the Superintendent of Education position with Kathy Maness and Ellen Weaver in a runoff. The winner of this race will be on the ballot against Lisa Ellis in the general election in November.
