Two Nexsen Pruet Attorneys Honored with Compleat Lawyer Award

COLUMBIA, SC – March 12, 2009 – Nexsen Pruet announces prestigious recognition for two of the firm’s attorneys.   Bob Coble has been selected as a Platinum 2009 Compleat Lawyer and Molly Hughes Cherry has been selected as a Silver 2009 Compleat Lawyer.  Each year, the University of South Carolina Law School Alumni Association recognizes nine attorneys who demonstrate outstanding civic and professional accomplishments.

In addition to practicing law in the areas of health care, regulatory law and governmental representation, Coble is Mayor of Columbia.

He is on the board of directors for the River Alliance, EngenuitySC, and the Central Carolina Economic Development Alliance.

Mayor Coble earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe.

Molly Hughes Cherry practices in the firm’s Charleston office and focuses on business and commercial litigation, as well as employment and labor law.  She is a certified specialist in labor and employment law and serves on the board of directors for the S.C. Women Lawyer’s Association.

Cherry’s work reaches far outside the practice of law.  She serves on the Board of Directors for Trident Literacy Association and the Wofford College National Alumni Association Executive Council.

She received her bachelor degree, magna cum laude, from Wofford College before graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Coble and Cherry will be honored at the USC Law School Alumni Association’s Compleat Lawyer Awards Dinner in Columbia on April 16th.
