United Way’s Jennifer Brown earns Accredited Financial Counselor status

United Way of Pickens County’s Success Coach and Resource Coordinator, Jennifer Brown, completed the requirements to earn the title of Accredited Financial Counselor by the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education. This training will allow Brown to provide an even higher level of coaching expertise to participants in United Way’s Pathways program.

Pathways is a 6-18 month intensive, one-on-one financial coaching program designed to equip hardworking, low-income Pickens County individuals and families with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary to achieve freedom over their finances. Pathways focuses on budgeting, debt management, asset-building, credit and more.
