University of South Carolina Homecoming Commission and The Five Points Association to host ‘Paint the Town Garnet and Black’ Block Party

The Five Points Association in partnership with the University of South Carolina Homecoming Commission, announced the Paint the Town Garnet and Black Block Party, Presented by South Carolina Federal Credit Union! The 3rd annual event will take place this Friday, November 1 st from 6-9 p.m.
The block party will be held in Columbia’s iconic Five Points district, transforming it into a sea of garnet and black. The free event will offer a night of live music from The Root Doctors, food trucks, and entertainment for Gamecocks of all ages. Whether you’re a current student, proud alum, or local supporter, this celebration is designed to unite the community in the spirit of Homecoming.
Five Points has long been a favorite gathering spot for USC students and Columbia residents alike, making it the perfect backdrop for this Homecoming celebration. Assistant Director, Meredith Covert, says, "We are excited to partner with the University of South Carolina Homecoming Commission to host an unforgettable night that brings everyone together in the heart of our district. We are looking forward to welcoming Gamecocks of all ages to enjoy a spectacular night in Five Points.”
