Upstate Pregnancy Center Urgently Calls for Diaper Donations Ahead of Upcoming Drive Thru Event

October 2, 2024

The Upstate Pregnancy Center has issued an urgent call for diaper donations in preparation for its upcoming diaper drive-thru events, scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, and most likely another on Tuesday, October 15, in Laurens. Due to a significant demand, the center’s supplies have been depleted after assisting Family Promise with a large donation to help local families in need.

“We shared our diaper supply with Family Promise to help address their immediate needs, but now we need to replenish our stock for the upcoming drives,” said Brenda Stewart, board chair for the Upstate Pregnancy Center. “There is a critical shortage of diapers, particularly in sizes 3 to 7, as well as pull-ups in all sizes.”

To ensure enough supplies are available for the drive-thru events, the center is calling on the community to drop off diaper donations at the following locations:

  • Sadler Hughes Apothecary in Clinton
  • Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner Realtors in Clinton
  • Sanitary Market in Laurens (124 E Public Square)

Donations can be made now through the upcoming drives. Every contribution will directly support families in need through the Upstate Pregnancy Center and their ongoing efforts.

Your generosity can make a meaningful difference for families in Laurens County. For more information or any questions, please contact Brenda Stewart (864-449-7700) or email [email protected].
