April 19, 2013

GREENVILLE, SC – April 19, 2013 – Up to 700 of the nation’s leading manufacturing leaders will be at the TD Convention Center in Greenville from April 22 to April 24 attending the IndustryWeek Best Plants Conference. This is the first time the convention has been to the area, and the Upstate SC Alliance’s vice president of marketing, Jennifer Miller, said she hopes they like what they see.

Miller said The Upstate SC Alliance, a major sponsor of the event, has gone to great lengths to show off the exceptional business and quality of life the Upstate offers. “Our purpose is to educate the world on the Upstate of South Carolina and who better to tell it to but 700 manufacturing executives gathered together to discuss best practices and to recognize excellence in the industry,” said Miller.

Keynote speakers and well-targeted sessions, plant tours, networking opportunities and exhibits deliver content in myriad ways during this event.

“The IndustryWeek Best Plants Conference provides an excellent platform for the Upstate SC Alliance to showcase our dynamic manufacturing economy,” she said.
