Upstate will Host Free Green Conference for Facilities Engineers, Operations Professionals

GREENVILLE, SC – October 23, 3009 – Plant and facilities engineers and maintenance and operations professionals are invited to attend a free educational and networking event being held in the Upstate next week. Costs are being covered by sponsors.
Facilities America Presented by Fluor will feature a comprehensive program of educational sessions on the latest products, technologies, best practices and services that plant and facilities engineers and operations professionals can use to improve plant and building energy efficiency.
Sessions will focus on the following topics:
- Sustainable maintenance practices
- Managing the maintenance function in a challenging economy
- Energy conservation/alternative energy
- Maintenance management/CMMS/indoor air quality
- Team leadership/enhancing your management skills
Continuing education units are available.
The conference will be held on October 29 and 30 at the Carolina First Center in Greenville. The event is being organized by the Association for Facilities Engineering, the premier national organization for facilities engineers and maintenance personnel.
