Upstate Young Professionals Group Calls for New Members

GREENVILLE, SC – August 9, 2011 – Professionals United for Leadership and Social Enrichment (PULSE), the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s young professionals group, is pleased to announce its “Refer a Friend” campaign, aiming to increase awareness and build membership for the organization.

Throughout the month of August, anyone who registers as a PULSE member will be entered into a drawing for a $500 savings bond given by The Palmetto Bank, PULSE’s corporate sponsor. Registrants will be prompted to indicate which PULSE member referred them to the organization. For every referred new member, the PULSE member’s name will go into a drawing for an Apple® iPad, sponsored by The PSGroup®, and for a Think™ office chair, sponsored by Young Office™.

The prize drawing will take place at the PULSE Social on August 31, 2011 at The Children’s Museum of the Upstate.

Any young professional aged 22-39 in the Greater Greenville area can register to become a member of PULSE.  Memberships cost $50/year for people whose companies are members of the Greenville Chamber, and $75/year for non-Chamber members.  Pro-rated in July, membership dues are reduced to $35 and $50, respectively.
