A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in downtown New York City, Lauren Wagner is a native of Baltimore, MD and a recent transplant to the Charleston Lowcountry.
Using her degree in Theater and Fine Arts. Wagner spent nearly 10 years performing as a professional dancer on Broadway in such stage classics as A Chorus Line, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, Grease and Carousel.
A Realtor® since 2002, Wagner enjoyed a long and illustrious career in real estate that spanned more than 15 years. Wagner worked as both a Sales Associate and an Associate Broker for Douglas Elliman Real Estate and JC DeNiro and Associates, two major players in the NYC real estate market. A winner of numerous awards, Wagner’s focus involved the sale and marketing of luxury homes, cooperatives, condominiums and townhomes to both celebrities as well as CEO’s and CFO’s of prominent companies and media outlets.
Wagner was also a pioneer in the field of “Virtual Staging” of vacant homes with the Gotham Photo Company. This novel endeavor allowed buyers to envision potential room layouts by bringing homes and rooms to life with the virtual use of furniture and accessories.
Wagner followed her Homebuilder/General Contractor husband to the Outer Banks of North Carolina where they enjoyed fixing and flipping homes profitably. The couple also owned and operated an award winning shaved ice and ice cream parlor business before moving to Charleston. Lauren and Mike Wagner continue to manage numerous income-producing properties up and down the East Coast.
A current resident of North Charleston, Wagner is married to Mike, her husband of 7 years and they have twin 2-1/2 year-old girls.
