Virginia College in Columbia to Host Back to School Event – August 5

Virginia College in Columbia will host a Back to School Event Saturday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon at the campus located at 7201 Two Notch Road. The event is free and open to the public, as the community is invited to kick off the new school year with Virginia College. The event will feature refreshments, free back-to-school haircuts for kids, face painting, scavenger hunts, games, music, campus tours, Allied Health program demonstrations and a school supplies drive for which everyone is encouraged to bring and donate supplies. Attendees will be entered to win prizes such as Amazon gift cards and backpacks filled with school supplies.
