Virginia College in Columbia to host Career Fair – March 27

Virginia College in Columbia will host a Career Fair Tuesday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the campus located at 7201 Two Notch Road. The event is free and open to the public and will feature career development opportunities, refreshments and giveaways. Resume Writing and Job Search and Interviewing Tips workshops also will be offered. Event attendees 18 and older can enter to win prizes such as a Chromebook or four $25 gift cards. Members of the community planning to attend must register with the campus prior to the event by calling 803-509-7100.
The event is part of Virginia College parent company Education Corporation of America’s national Career Fair events being held at 69 other Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute, Golf Academy of America, Ecotech Institute and Virginia College locations throughout 19 states.

Community partners and local employers representing hospitals, medical practices, employment agencies, salons, South Carolina’s state government employer and local businesses will be in attendance.
The event will also allow attendees to explore programs offered through Virginia College including: Business Administration, Cosmetology, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Office Specialist, Network Support Technician, Pharmacy Technician and Surgical Technology.
