Walmart Foundation Grant Supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia

COLUMBIA, SC- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia is excited to announce receiving a grant from the Walmart Foundation’s Community Giving Program through their Store 4506 at 321 Killian Road.

In 2014, Walmart and the Walmart Foundation gave $1.4 billion in cash and in-kind contributions around the world. Global in-kind donations accounted for $1 billion, while $309 million was given in cash globally.

“We are so grateful for the support of WalMart, and it is wonderful when we can partner to serve our community together with one of our local stores,” said Cristy Marshall, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia.
