Live music, drinks, and off-leash furry friends at Yappy Hour

Celebrate springtime in the dog park with your favorite drinks and your furry friends! Dogs and their owners are invited to North Charleston Wannamaker County Park on Wednesday, April 29 for Yappy Hour: an afternoon full of live music, cold beverages, and fun!

Yappy Hour will take place in the park’s off-leash dog park and will feature a live music performance from Charleston-based singer-songwriter Beau Johnson. Music starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m.

Beer, wine, Pepsi products and Aquafina water will be available for purchase. Yappy Hour is free with park admission ($2 per person or free with the Gold Pass) and no registration is required.

The dog park at Wannamaker County Park is six acres and offers off-leash areas for large and small dogs. The park also features the “Splash Paw” doggie spray play, a dog washing station, restrooms, benches and shade structures.

Charleston County Parks encourages all dog owners to please visit charlestoncountyparks.com to review the dog park rules before visiting Yappy Hour or the dog parks. Outside alcohol, food and coolers are prohibited.
