WebsterRogers’ Creech Honored with Service to the Profession Award

CHARLESTON, SC – January 16, 2012 – WebsterRogers LLP ispleased to announce that Bobby R. Creech, Jr., CPA has been awarded theService to the Profession Award by the South Carolina Association ofCertified Public Accountants (SCACPA) at its recent Annual Summit. Thisaward pays tribute to a SCACPA member whose public service,professional conduct, time and effort have contributed significantly tothe advancement of the profession of accounting. The Service to theProfession Award is the highest honor SCACPA bestows on a member.
Mr. Creech joined WebsterRogers in 2000. He is a partner in theCharleston office and serves as the Partner-in-Charge of the firm’sEstate and Trust practice. He is a graduate of the College ofCharleston and serves on the College’s Alumni Association Board ofDirectors.
Mr. Creech has been a SCACPA member for 23 years and has served asPresident and a member of the Board of Directors, the ProfessionalRelations Task Force, PAC Committee, Behavioral Standards Committee andthe Information Technology Committee. He has also served as Chairman ofSCACPA’s Public Relations Committee and as past Chair and member of theSouth Carolina Board of Accountancy and a member of the AmericanInstitute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) governing Council. Hecurrently serves on the Nominating Committee of the NationalAssociation of State Boards of Accountancy.
