WebsterRogers Announces Turner to Succeed Webster as Managing Partner

FLORENCE, SC – December 28, 2011 – WebsterRogers LLP announcesthat effective January 1, 2012, Debra A. Turner, CPA will succeed V.Carroll Webster, CPA as the Firm’s Managing Partner. In her new role asManaging Partner, Ms. Turner will be responsible for the day-to-daymanagement and operations of WebsterRogers. The move is part ofWebsterRogers’ overall succession strategy, which will have Mr. Websterremain with the firm in a consulting capacity.
I am honored to have been elected as Managing Partner, Turnerstated. As always, we will continue our commitment to provideoutstanding service to our clients, expand our service offerings andposition the Firm for future growth.
Turner joined the firm via a merger in 2000 and was elected to theFirm’s executive committee in 2008. She has served as thePartner-in-Charge of the Lowcountry Economic Unit that now includes theCharleston and Summerville offices since 2000 and provides tax planningand consulting to clients, primarily in the healthcare industry. Ms.Turner served on the SC Board of Accountancy for six years and as itsChair. Additionally, she is a past member of the SCACPA Board, alsoserving as its President. She is a graduate of the College ofCharleston.
In his 27 plus years as the Managing Partner, Mr. Webster presidedover the expansion of WebsterRogers that saw the Firm grow from oneoffice to eight offices throughout the state of South Carolina. The Firmis currently the second largest public accounting and consulting firmdomiciled in the state of South Carolina and one of the 200 largest inthe United States.
