Wells Fargo names Jack Marchette Pee Dee Market President and Business Banking Manager

FLORENCE, SC – Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) has named Jack Marchette Pee Dee Market President and Business Banking Manager. Based in Florence, he is responsible for leading the Florence and Sumter Business Banking teams in identifying, acquiring and developing new business account relationships within the company’s Business Banking segment. Marchette succeeds John D. Bankson, who held the position since 1997 and will now serve as the National Director for Wells Fargo’s Business Advisory Services.

Marchette joined Wells Fargo in 2009 as a Business Banking Principal Relationship Manager in the Pee Dee market where he successfully managed a large portfolio of client relationships. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Marchette served as the Chief Financial Officer/Chief of Staff for BB Hobbs, Inc., in Darlington, South Carolina. He and his wife, Beth, previously founded Triple R Farms, LLC, in 1991 and he served as the Owner and President of the Florence-based company until he sold the business in 2005.

A native of Florence, Marchette is very active in his community and currently serves as Chairman of the Darlington County Economic Development Partnership Board and is a member of the Darlington County Economic Development Progress Board. He also sits on the Helping Florence Flourish Steering Committee, Racial Bridging Committee, Coker College Leadership and Entrepreneurship Advisory Council and often participates in Coker College’s Summer Business Academy as a speaker and judge. Marchette and his wife of 36 years live on their family farm and have three married daughters and five grandchildren.
