Wells Fargo sponsors 329th Habitat Greenville Home Build
June 11, 2015GREENVILLE, SC – Construction started this week on the first Wells Fargo-sponsored Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County Home Build.
Wells Fargo and Habitat representatives were on site in the Abigail Springs subdivision in Taylors to do an official check presentation Thursday, said Monroe Free, Habitat Greenville’s President and CEO. The Rousseau family will be the 329th family to become Habitat homeowners since Habitat Greenville was founded 30 years ago. The home is expected to be completed in September.
Mark Westmoreland, Wells Fargo’s Senior Vice President and Greenville Business Banking Manager, said the bank has supported Habitat’s affordable housing work for 20 years, which is one example of Wells Fargo’s focus on doing what’s right for local communities.
“Together with Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, we are creating affordable housing opportunities for low-income families who now have homes in which they can take great pride – a mission that Wells Fargo has always believed is important,” Westmoreland said.
