Richland Library’s mission is to help our customers learn, create and share. We are continuing to offer programs, both familiar and new, and we are finding creative ways to connect with our community and interact online. Here’s a look at some of the featured programs that are planned for the coming week:

Storytime at Richland Library

Join us for storytime at your favorite location, both indoor and outdoor options are available. Monday Bites: Traditional Vietnamese Spring Rolls (Gỏi Cuốn) with Jenny L.

Ukweli: Midlands Writers and Poets Explore Racism

Author and journalist Herb Frazier hosts a panel discussion on artist responses to racism and diversity with an African drumming performance by Spiritual Gumbo. The writers panel is composed of Midlands-based artists, each of whom is a contributor to the recent book, Ukweli: Searching for Healing and Truth: South Carolina Writers and Poets Explore American Racism (2022, Evening Post Books).
