William Means Real Estate reports record year of Charleston home sales
January 4, 2017William Means Real Estate sold more than $198 million in Charleston area real estate in 2016, making it one of the company’s most successful years to date. The company also ranked No. 1 among Charleston real estate companies with an average home sale price of more than $600,000. William Means’ average home sale price was more than $998,000.
A few significant real estate transactions boosted sales during 2016, including:
- 338 Coinbow Drive, a home near Hobcaw Creek in Mount Pleasant, sold for $4.5 million in March.
- 37 Meeting St., a unique pre-Revolutionary house in the heart of Charleston’s oldest neighborhood, sold for $7.51 million in June.
- 602 Ocean Blvd., a single-family home on the Isle of Palms, sold for more than $4.81 million in June.
- 2001 Waterway Blvd., a home located on the Intracoastal Waterway on the Isle of Palms, sold for $4.1 million in November.
