Women’s Solar 101 workshop

Councilwoman Tameika Isaac Devine will host the Women’s Solar 101 workshop for City of Columbia residents to receive information about the potential for solar energy for your home. The workshop will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the EdVenture Children’s Museum Canal Room, 211 Gervais St., Columbia, 29201.
This event is designed for women interested in solar energy for their home or business. Learn the basics of solar energy as well as what it looks like, what questions you should ask, who are reputable installers, what incentives are available, the costs from installation to monthly expenses, payback time and examples of systems.
