Women @ Work Networking Event a Resounding Success
July 25, 2022Last week the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce hosted a “Women @ Work Happy Hour and Networking event in their office.
Among their many roles in the community, the chamber works hard to foster the creation and filling of jobs, and to develop of community leaders at all levels in Laurens County.
The Women @ Work networking event was a huge success and a great opportunity for women business owners and executives to come together and network.
“I think it is important for us to continue to build strong relationships and friendships while we celebrate successes and work hard across Laurens County. A Women @ Work program is something I have always wanted to implement through the Chamber, and I am excited about our first gathering,” said Amanda Munyan, President and CEO of the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce. “I look forward to the plans we have. This is another important initiative within the Chamber’s work plan to continue our efforts of communication, coordination, and collaboration across the County.”
Based on the attendance and response to the initial Women @ Work event, you can expect to hear about additional events in the future.
