Women’s Evening of Worship & Fellowship Coming to Laurens County Museum Oct. 30

September 23, 2025

Women across Laurens County are invited to gather for an uplifting evening of coffee, dessert, fellowship, and worship on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Laurens County Museum, 116 S. Public Square, Laurens.

Hosted by Lucas Avenue Baptist Church and Bethany Presbyterian Church, the free community event will feature music by Laurens County native Bryson Shultz and a keynote message from Deb Richardson-Moore, a Greenville native, award-winning journalist, novelist, and former pastor of Triune Mercy Center in downtown Greenville—a congregation known for welcoming both the city’s richest and poorest residents.

Richardson-Moore is the author of The Weight of Mercy: A Novice Pastor on the City Streets, which chronicles her early years in ministry. Books and CDs will be available during the event.

Admission is free, with donations appreciated. Guests are encouraged to RSVP by October 29 to Rev. Charmaine Pannell at 864-202-0442 or Connie Post at 864-344-4975.

This special evening is designed to bring women together from across the community for connection, encouragement, and worship in the heart of downtown Laurens.
