Woodlands at Furman gives more than $2,500 for Miracle Hill

GREENVILLE, SC – The Woodlands at Furman’s Festival of Trees raised more than $2,500 for Miracle Hill Children’s Home this holiday season.
The gift to the Children’s Home included a check for $2,177.15, which was raised through sponsors of the trees that were shown at the Woodlands this year as well as donations from staff and community members.
The Woodlands community also donated numerous items to the Children’s Home such as pillows, linens and clothing. Miracle Hill Children’s Home was founded in 1958 to care for unwanted, troubled, neglected and abused children who had no place to stay.
“The Woodlands cares about the greater Greenville community,” said Kevin Parker, The Woodlands’ executive director. “Our residents and staff are always looking to help the greater good.”
