YMCA of Columbia Chief Development Officer Named Chair of Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce
July 23, 2014COLUMBIA, SC– YMCA of Columbia’s Chief Development Officer Wendy Broderick has been named Chair of the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce as of July 1, 2014.
Broderick has served on the board of the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce since 2010. Prior to her role as Chief Development Officer of the YMCA of Columbia, she held the position of Executive Director of the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA at Lake Carolina from 2007 to 2009 and has been working in the development office of the YMCA of Columbia Association since.
“I am proud to be a charter member of the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce and excited to work closely with the chamber staff, board of directors and members in the coming year as Chair,” said Broderick. “The Chamber is a great place for those new to the area and long-established businesspeople alike to get involved and make a difference in the community. Broderick also serves on the boards of Sustainable Midlands, Historic Columbia Foundation and the Blythewood Rotary Club.
