Za’s on Devine features newly renovated private dining space

Seating for 75+ guests, for events and parties this holiday season

Za’s on Devine – locally-owned, Italian-inspired neighborhood restaurant and bar – offers companies, event planners and diners a new option for event space and private party rentals this holiday season: their recently renovated, modern and bright private dining space (plus adjacent outdoor patio) is now available for small-scale events, for as little as 16 and as many as 75 guests.

Za’s private dining space consists of a banquet room and adjoining private dining room. Combined or separate, the spaces are versatile and ready for décor; outfitted in clean, sophisticated styling with neutral colors, modern light fixtures, dark hardwood floors and simple, sleek wooden furniture crafted by Old Dominion in Lynchburg, Va. – fitting for gatherings like private dinners, corporate banquets, cocktail parties, bridal and baby showers, engagement parties, fundraiser luncheons and networking events.

An adjacent outdoor patio (with optional cocktail tables and seating) offers guests an indoor/outdoor option while expanding party capacity.

The full Za’s on Devine menu – including the new Seasonal Menu for fall and winter 2016, featuring toasted Brussels sprouts; spicy sausage Bolognese with low-carb pasta made from zucchini ribbons; garlic P.E.I. mussels and meatball & ricotta pie – is available, as well as Za’s hand-selected wine list (including gems like Kris pinot grigio and The Crusher cabernet), local craft beer and cocktails. Custom catering options are available upon request.

Local owners and S.C.-natives Jeb Babcock, Chad Elsey, Rob Ward and Craig Wyatt renovated Za’s after purchasing the restaurant in 2015, transforming the back room into a versatile gathering space for community events, parties, celebrations and meetings.

Private Dining Space Specs
Za’s banquet room and adjacent private dining room (excluding the outdoor patio), combined, have standing room for as many as 75 guests and can accommodate up to 55 guests in a seated banquet format. The private dining room alone can seat 16 guests, and the outdoor patio adds comfortable standing room for up to 25 guests and features additional casual seating.

Room rentals include the use of the following:

• 6 wooden dining tables for six guests,
• 4 wooden dining tables for four guests
• 4 six-foot folding buffet tables
• 3 tall cocktail tables
• 30 wooden dining chairs
• 20 folding chairs
• 65-inch flat-screen TV in banquet room with modern connections, including HDMI
• Additional 50-inch flat-screen TV in private dining room
• Access to free Wi-Fi network
