Ziff Properties, Inc. announced the official closing of Mountain Creek Village Shopping Center in Chattanooga, TN. This project is a venture between Ziff Properties, Inc. and Reliant Self Storage, which will involve redeveloping the former Food Lion-anchored retail center into a self-storage facility. The finished product will be a Class A climate and non-climate controlled self-storage facility of 81,728-square feet with 718 units. The property will also provide outdoor storage for boats and RV’s as well as a two-story office and on-site managers unit.

This acquisition marks Ziff Properties’ third in Chattanooga in 18 months, which includes nearby Signal Mountain Shopping Center, where Food City is the anchor. Tom Cofer of Rivercity Realty represented the seller. Rudy Walldorf of Herman Walldorf Commercial, Inc. represented the buyer.

Ziff Properties’ Chief Operating Officer and Director of Acquisitions, Christian Chamblee says, “We see heavy potential for this property and look forward to seeing our extensive redevelopment plans come to life.
