NAI Charleston Assists the Coastal Conservation League in Relocation

NAI Charleston is pleased to announce Broker/Partner David Ingle and Associate Reeves Major assisted the Coastal Conservation League (CCL) in a lease at 131 Spring Street in downtown Charleston, SC. NAI Charleston represented the tenant, while Vitre Stephens and Leslie Fellabom represented the landlord in the transaction.

The CCL has outgrown its current space at 328 East Bay Street and will relocate to 131 Spring Street in March 2019. The organization plans to build out ±5,800 square feet of space within the ±6,800-square-foot building. Tiger Lily is leaving the former service-station-turned-flower shop but will retain ±1,000 square feet for its retail space; its office operation will relocate to James Island.

“The atmosphere of 131 Spring Street is positive and generates a sense of community, an embrace of heritage and history and the energy and enthusiasm for our next great chapter,” said Laura Cantral, Executive Director of the CCL. “We believe 131 Spring Street can and will serve as a gathering place for all who want to collaborate on new conservation opportunities and tackle local and state-wide challenges.”

“It was a pleasure working with Laura and the entire CCL staff, we take immense pride in helping this organization find its new home,” said Ingle.

Operating for more than 30 years, the CCL has five locations throughout the state. The organization’s mission is to protect and improve South Carolina’s threatened resources including clean water, un-polluted air, local agriculture, efficient transportation and sustainable energy.

“David and I are proud to represent such a well-respected non-profit organization in the area and are thrilled have helped the team secure space in the Tiger Lily building” said Major. “We look forward to seeing the future CCL space once the build out is complete.”
