Southeastern Freight Lines promotes Charles Parkman to regional vice president of sales

Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, announced Charles Parkman has been promoted to regional vice president of sales. Parkman will lead teams in the southeast region of the United States, covering 18 service centers, spanning across Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

Parkman has over a decade of experience at Southeastern, where he began his career as a service center manager in West Palm Beach, Florida, and currently serves as service center manager in Tampa, Florida.

“Charles exudes our quality without question culture and has proven strong leadership skills throughout the more than 12 years he’s been with our Southeastern family,” said Mike Heaton, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Southeastern Freight Lines. “As he continues to excel in those areas, we look forward to the guidance he will bring to the regional team.”

Parkman, his wife and two children will be based in Tampa, Florida. Parkman looks forward to serving the Southeastern Freight Lines team in this new capacity.
