McNair Director of Marketing and Business Development named Vice Chair of Trident United Way Women United

Kathryn Whitaker, McNair’s Director of Marketing and Business Development, has been named Vice Chair of Trident United Way Women United, effective July 1, 2017. She will serve a year in that capacity and then become Chair in 2018.
The Trident United Way Women United is an involved network of philanthropic leaders in the community who are committed to improving education, financial stability, and health in the region through giving, advocacy, and volunteerism.
“Kathryn has been an integral member of the Trident United Way Women United steering committee the past two years, and we are so excited she has agreed to serve as Vice Chair for the coming year,” said Michelle Bornfleth, Trident United Way’s Affinity Groups Manager. “Her energy and enthusiasm along with the leadership she’s shown with other Women United events will help power this group forward as we continue to seek bold community change in the Tri-County area.”
Whitaker works with the Firm’s leadership and practice groups to develop and implement marketing and business development plans, while overseeing efforts to facilitate cross-office and cross-practice collaboration for the benefit of firm clients. She also manages all aspects of the Firm’s branding and marketing strategy.
