Studio 2LR Architecture + Interiors is searching for a new business manager to help grow our award-winning design firm. We are architects and interior designers who are committed to design excellence and creativity. You are organized, eager to learn, and ready for a new challenge in a creative setting. If this sounds intriguing, here are the essential details about this position:
Business Management – Full Time Position
Duties may include:
- Provide reception services in-office and on-phone
- Manage all accounting including payroll, invoicing, and bill-paying
- Manage contracts and price negotiations with vendors and service providers
- Manage all office equipment and coordination with related IT vendors, etc.
- Plan office events such as continuing education opportunities and celebrations
- Manage office supplies, operations, and procedures
- Assist in developing proposals and contracts
- Assisting with development of graphics, advertisements, branding, etc.
Qualifications of the position:
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in QuickBooks is mandatory. Experience with any of the following programs a plus: ArchiOffice, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, AIA Contract Documents
- Basic knowledge of accounting
- Prior experience handling office responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
