Two Bluestein attorneys recognized as Legal Elite
August 1, 2018Two attorneys from Bluestein Attorneys have been recognized in the just-released Columbia Business Monthly’s 2018 edition of “Legal Elite of the Midlands.”
The recognition honors attorneys in the Midlands whose peers consider them outstanding in their practice area. The attorneys, and their practice areas, being honored include:
Clarke Newton – Personal Injury
Allison Sullivan – Personal Injury, Workers Comp
Newton, who was also recognized as Legal Elite by the publication last year, has been with Bluestein Attorneys for five years. He focuses his personal injury practice in the areas of wrecks with tractor-trailers, motorcycle wrecks, wrongful death and medical malpractice. He also practices in the area of criminal defense.
Sullivan is a partner with the firm with extensive experience in the areas of workers’ compensation and personal injury. Her personal injury practice focuses in the areas of wrecks with tractor-trailers, motorcycle wrecks, wrongful death and medical malpractice. Sullivan’s practice also includes include workers’ compensation, whistleblower lawsuits and mediation. She currently serves as president of the Injured Workers’ Advocates, a nonprofit association dedicated to advancing the interests of injured workers and their families in South Carolina. She was first selected for inclusion in the Legal Elite in 2015.
The Legal Elite selection process begins with nominations from more than 1,000 active lawyers in the Midlands. Attorney votes then narrow the nominees down to a top 10 in each of the 20 practice areas.
