Williams joins Pelion High as assistant administrator

LEXINGTON, SC – During the July 18, 2017 meeting of the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees, the board approved the promotion of Bryson Williams for the position of assistant administrator at Pelion High School for the 2017–2018 academic year.

Williams began his education career in 2002 when he joined First Baptist Church School in Charleston as a government and economics teacher as well as a driver’s education instructor.

Williams moved to Lexington District One in 2006, when he joined White Knoll High School as a Career and Technology Education instructor teaching Integrated Business Applications and Business Law.

He transferred to River Bluff High School when it opened in 2013 where he taught Image Editing, Marketing and Web Design and served as the CATE Department’s lead teacher. Williams also served as assistant athletics director, CREW Design Team member and DECA adviser.

Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Charleston Southern University, a Master of Education in secondary education from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Science in educational administration from Fort Hays State University.

He holds certifications in business, marketing, computer education and secondary education administration.

Williams is a member of the American Association of School Administrators, the Palmetto State Teachers Association and the South Carolina Business Teachers Association.
