Blythewood Chamber opens CoWork Space

April 19, 2017

The worldwide popularity of coworking has spread to Blythewood, SC.  Independent professionals are discovering that their home office comes with a lot of distractions: dogs barking, family interruptions, etc. and finding a quiet coffee shop to use as a work space is proving ineffective, as well.  Many of these workers are in need of desk space with wi-fi, printer, conference room, coffee, etc. but not interested in finding and leasing their own office space.  With a coworking space, they have everything they need, without the hassle of a long-term lease, utilities contracts and/or phone and Internet contracts.

The exploding population of the Blythewood area and the resulting increase in traffic congestion on I-77, helped the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce make the decision to open the town’s first co-work space in their new office at 428-4 McNulty St. in downtown Blythewood.
