BIA to Host Building Codes Workshop

RESIDENTIAL BUILDING CODES TO CHANGE IN 2016
The 2015 International Residential Construction (IRC) codes for residential construction are scheduled to go into effect in South Carolina on July 1, 2016. The new building codes and South Carolina modifications vary from the current codes in many ways.
In an effort to help residential builders keep up with and understand the changes, the Building Industry Association of Central SC (BIA) will hold a workshop on the code changes and modifications. Registration is required. The 2015 IRC code book will be available for all registrants. BIA Members -$75; $165 includes Code Book; Non BIA Members -$125; $215 includes Code Book
