Join the Building Industry Association for the Home Run 5K through the award winning neighborhoods of Lake Carolina as we kick-off the 2016 Tour of Homes on June 4. Named Community of the Year for over ten years, Lake Carolina is a close-knit village of good neighbors, convenient shops, lakeside recreation and resort amenities.
This fast, fun and challenging 5k will end at Lake Carolina’s Towne Center where the Kid’s FUN RUN, Family Fun and Awards Ceremony will take place. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Columbia Flood Relief efforts.

The Tour of Homes, Columbia’s Largest Open House of New Homes opens Saturday, June 4 following the Home Run 5K Kick-Off! The Tour of Homes, will be open Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays the first three weekends in June. The annual scattered-site showing will feature new home communities and new homes for your inspection including the Showcase Home in the Park West Community located in Chapin, SC built by Great Southern Homes featuring Green Smart construction features; Certified High Performance (CHiP) Home; I Phone docking station; home automation; granite counter tops; designer cabinets; hardwood floors; stainless steel appliances; four bedrooms/two and a half bathrooms.
The Tour of Homes gives home buyers the opportunity to see the best new home communities and homes in every price range.
