Bobbitt builds facility for Pineview Mental Health

COLUMBIA, SC – Bobbitt Design Build recently finished construction on a 5,652-square-foot regional office for Pineview Mental Health located at 1848 Pineview Road in Columbia. The new location will increase the facility’s access to new patients in the area and extend the reach of its programs.
Bobbitt was chosen as the general contractor because the design-build company had worked with both the owner and tenant previously. About 15 years ago, Bobbitt built another building on the same site. With a similar finish and design as the first building, the administrative office is accented by a brick exterior and shingle roof.
The Pineview Mental Health project had a very tight site and short construction timeframe. In spite of the delays in the start of construction due to the approval process and extreme weather, Bobbitt was still able to complete the project on time. The move-in date was critical due to the staff being displaced from their previous office because of the Bull Street project.
