ABOUT THE MUSICAL
This popular, tongue and cheek Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical comedy, Little Shop of Horrors has been a favorite of theatregoers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.
Meek floral assistant, Seymour Krelborn comes across a new and interesting breed of plant he names “Audrey II” — after his co-worker friend and “love of his life” Audrey. This foul-mouthed, singing carnivorous plant promises fame and fortune to the troubled Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it—BLOOD. Finally, Seymour discovers the plant’s “out of this world” origins and its intent towards global domination! Little Shop of Horrors is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI.)
